Satellite radio antenna that may be required for SIRIUS operation not included. If the radio that is being replaced was not equipped with Sirius Satellite Radio, you must order an antenna kit. Upgrade Requirements: 7B0 098 593A is required depending on which original factory radio is removed. If the vehicle was originally equipped with a factory Uconnect system, the `hands free` voice capability and supported by a microphone in the rearview mirror, the voice activation system will be lost, unless you install a jumper harness to support this feature. This Wiring kit for customers who upgraded to the uconnect gps (RER) radio and already have factory installed uconnect phone module with a microphone mirror. This wiring kit connects the existing microphone mirror to radio to enable hands-free calling & voice control of the radio. For REN, or REQ with BlueTooth: 7B0 051 444C Interface Cable.
For RES, REN, REQ without factory Uconnect BlueTooth. 7B0 051 434A Stand Alone Microphone Kit for customers who wish to enable hands-free calling & voice control of the RER radio when they upgrade to the Uconnect gps radio (RER). You may also opt to retrofit the more expensive Uconnect Bluetooth rearview mirror plus harness. Does not include map DVD disk. Call 1-800-NAVTEQ to purchase a Nav DVD (additional cost).
